vogue paris september 2009: annie hall.

it's only been this past year that i've started embracing dresses, but still prefer trousers any day of the week. a friend of mine recently came across a picture of me at 14, and fell into a fit of laughter telling me i'm the only 14-year-old who wore a pantsuit in the 80's. i looked like a nerdy real estate agent. anyhow, i love everything about this editorial paying tribute to a favorite movie of mine, annie hall. diane keaton brought her own personal style to such an interesting, smart and magnetic character. this editorial captures my style preference, it plays on androgyny--having the prefect balance of femininity with tomboy ease. so excited fall is almost here so i can rock my real gear--although i LOVE the sunnier months, my wardrobe doesn't lend itself too kindly to them.
